Rolla National has two almost identically sized runways on different alignments, yet published approaches serve only two of their four ends. The four procedures are evenly divided between RNAV (GPS) and VOR approaches, giving both satellite-based and ground-based options without covering every landing direction. At roughly 5,500 ft each, changing runway alignment involves virtually no difference in published runway length.
Waynesville-St Robert Regional Forney Field has the broadest nearby procedure set, while Jefferson City Memorial matches Rolla National’s chart count. Cuba Municipal, Sullivan Regional and Salem Memorial each have markedly thinner coverage. The Kansas City and St Louis sectional charts add the wider visual-navigation context that the airport’s procedure charts do not provide.
