FSX Orbit Airlines Cessna Caravan

Orbit Airlines livery brings a clean, recognizable look to the default Cessna 208B Grand Caravan for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, with matching airline callsign details for more immersive regional and cargo-style flying. Requires the stock FSX C208B aircraft and includes the dedicated texture set for quick selection in the aircraft menu.

To install, extract the zip file and put a copy of 'texture.orbit' into '...\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\C208B\'. Copy the text below and paste it into 'C208B\aircraft.cfg', changing the 'xxx' to the next number in the series. If you are still confused, stare at aircraft.cfg until it makes sense, Google how to install repaints. Enjoy, and I hope you like the repaint!

description="Wherever you want to go today, the Cessna Caravan can get you there. First introduced by Cessna in 1985, the Caravan was designed to land nearly anywhere, on land or water. Undoubtedly, it has lived up to its creators' intentions. Whether supplies need to be brought to a flooded village in the mountains of Peru, an injured person needs to be flown out from a remote lake in Alaska, or an archeologist wants access to a tiny site in the African desert, the Caravan has what's needed to do the job."

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

This is a brilliant package and I thank you for it. However, I am wondering how I make this livery avaliable to AI aircraft?
