South Australian AFCADS Pack 1

South Australian AFCADS Pack 1 expands FSX coverage with detailed AFCADs for overlooked South Australia airfields, focusing on small general aviation strips and gliding clubs. It adds ten locations from Aldinga and Balaklava near Adelaide to remote Marla, Arkaroola, Amata, and Bollards Lagoon for richer local VFR and soaring routes.

South Australian AFCADS Pack 1. These AFCAD files add airports that were missed in FSX. Generally they are all small general aviation airports, gliding clubs, etc. By Kym Burton.

  • YADG Aldinga (Small aeroclub situated in southern suburbs of Adelaide).
  • YARS Ardrossan (Small strip on Yorke Peninsula).
  • YALA Marla (Situated in far north of South Oz on Stuart Highway).
  • YARK Arkaroola (Situated in northern Flinders Ranges).
  • YAMT Amata (Aboriginal community far northwest of South Oz).
  • YBLG Bollards Lagoon (Cattle station south of Innamincka).
  • YBVA Balaklava (Gliding club just to the north of Adelaide).
  • YBLM Blinman (Small community in the Flinders Ranges).
  • YBOR Bordertown (Gliding club near the SA/VIC border).
  • YBMR Barmera (Situated on Lake Bonney/Murray river in SA's Riverland).

Installation: Drop all .bgl files in your /addon scenery/scenery folder in FSX. That's it.

Then jump in your favorite lighty/glider and take to the skies.

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
