AFCAD For EHLW

Leeuwarden Airbase (EHLW) gets an accurate, reality-based airport layout for Dutch Air Force operations, built with Airport Design Editor and aligned to live map references for convincing taxiways, parking, and runway flow. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it refreshes the northern Netherlands hub for smoother military and general aviation traffic.

This is an AFCAD (or scenery, whatever you like) for Leeuwarden Airbase (EHLW), an airfield used by the Dutch Airforce F-16's. EHLW is located in the northern part of Holland. The AFCAD was made by Airport Design Editor (ADE). I tried to stay as close as possible to the reality, using Live Maps. This addon is made for FSX and NOT for FS9 (not tested with FS9 either). I tested this addon in FSX SP1, but it may work with SP2 as well. If not, please let me know.

Installation:

Place the bgl-file in the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder and be sure the Addon Scenery folder is active in the File Library in FSX (which is at default).

Uninstall:

Remove the bgl-file from the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
