AFCAD File For EHGR

Gilze-Rijen Airbase (EHGR) receives an updated airport layout for more accurate Dutch Air Force helicopter operations, with corrected helispots and refreshed AFCAD data built in Airport Design Editor for reliable ground positioning. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it sharpens the southern Netherlands base for Cougars, Chinooks, Alouette III, and Apaches.

This is an updated AFCAD (or scenery, whatever you like) for Gilze-Rijen Airbase (EHGR), an airfield used by the Dutch Airforce helicopters (Cougar, Chinook, Alouette III and Apache). EHGR is located in the southern part of Holland. The AFCAD was made by Airport Design Editor (ADE). The helispots are corrected in this version. This addon is made for FSX and NOT for FS9 (not tested with FS9 either). I tested this addon with FSX SP 1, but it may work in FSX SP 2 as well. If not, please let me know.

Installation:

  1. Place the two bgl-files in the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder (overwrite the old ones if you installed them) and be sure the Addon Scenery folder is active in the File Library in FSX (which is at default).

Uninstall:

  1. Remove the two bgl-files from the FSX/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder.

Happy landings at Gilze-Rijen Airbase Version 2!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
