FSX Haltikon Airport Scenery

Haltikon heliport (LSXR) brings the Heli Gotthard and Heliswiss International base to life in FSX with a square landing pad, two hangars, and detailed local buildings including warehouses and the Schilliger Holz AG sawmill. It requires Scenery Switzerland Pro X and Scenery VF-AIR for the surrounding Swiss environment.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Required files:

  • Scenery Switzerland Pro X (Flylogicsoftware)
  • Scenery VF-AIR

Installation:

  • Unpack the "Haltikon LSXR 1.0" zip files to a folder of your choice.
  • Copy the content of the "Effects" folder to the Flight Simulator "Effects" folder.
  • Copy the content of the "Sound" folder to the Flight Simulator "Sound" folder.
  • Copy the content of the "file Flight Simulator" folder to the Flight Simulator "flight" folder.
  • From the main menu of Flight Simulator choose "Settings", then "Scenery Library...".
  • Press "Add Area...".
  • Select the "LSXR Haltikon" directory and press "OK".

To flight:

  • Search LSXR or Heliport Haltikon in your airport database.
  • Loading Flight "LSXR - Haltikon".

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
