FS2004 Aeroput Lockheed L-10 Electra YU-SAV

Aeroput’s Lockheed L-10A Electra YU-SAV brings late-1930s Yugoslav airline history to life with a period-correct repaint for FS2004, matching the carrier’s distinctive markings and registration. It integrates cleanly with the base model and textures for authentic ramp presence and classic twin-engine touring, requires L104NWA.ZIP.

The Yugoslav Aeroput was one of four European airlines who bought the Lockheed Electra L10. From 1937 to 1939 Aeroput took altogether eight Electras into service. This is a repaint of Arik Hohmeyer's FS2004 Electra L-10A; requires L104NWA.ZIP. Livery painting by Arik Hohmeyer (FS-Design Berlin).

Installation in FS2004:

  • Unzip l104aer.zip to a temporary folder.
  • In your 'Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder, make a copy of the folder 'texture.nwa'.
  • Name it 'texture.aer'.
  • Within this download, you'll find a texture folder with 5 bmp textures. Move them in to the new folder you have just created 'texture.aer' (overwrite 5 existing bmp-files).
  • Back up your AIRCRAFT.CFG file (found in your 'FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder).
  • Open AIRCRAFT.CFG with a text editor and paste the following under your last [flightsim.xxx] entry:

[fltsim.1]

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
