FS2004 Cubana Lockheed L-10 Electra NM16

Cubana’s 1935-era Lockheed L-10 Electra NM16 livery brings classic Pan American-owned airline markings to the aircraft with period-appropriate textures for authentic vintage routes in FS2004. The repaint targets Arik Hohmeyer’s Electra L-10A model and requires L104NWA.ZIP or another FS-Design Berlin L-10 base package.

Cubana began in October 1929 as Compania Nacional Cubana de Aviacion Curtiss. In May 1932 the airline was acquired by Pan American and the airline renamed Compania Nacional Cubana de Aviacion. In 1935 the Lockheed L-10 Electra were introduced. This is a repaint of Arik Hohmeyer's FS2004 Electra L-10A. Requires L104NWA.ZIP or another base L-10 of FS-Design Berlin. Livery by Dale DeLuca.

Installation in FS2004:

  • Unzip l104cub.zip to a temporary folder.
  • In your 'Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder, make a copy of the folder 'texture.nwa'.
  • Name it 'texture.cub'.
  • Within this download, you'll find a texture folder with 5 bmp textures. Move them in to the new folder you have just created 'texture.cub' (overwrite 5 existing bmp-files).
  • Back up your AIRCRAFT.CFG file (found in your 'FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder).
  • Open AIRCRAFT.CFG with a text editor and paste the following under your last [flightsim.xxx] entry:

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
