FS2004 LOT Lockheed L-10 Electra SP-AYC

LOT Polish Airlines’ Lockheed L-10A Electra SP-AYC brings a 1930s European airliner look to FS2004 with period-accurate markings inspired by the carrier’s prewar fleet history. The repaint targets the FS Design Berlin Electra package and requires L104NWA.ZIP or another compatible L-10 base model.

LOT (Polskie Linie Lotnicze) was formed as a state airline in 1929 after the merger of AeroLloyd Warsaw/Aerolot and Aero. In 1936 LOT purchased four Electra 10A and in 1937 another six. During World War II (in 1942) six LOT Electra's were given to the Romanian airline LARES. This is a repaint of Arik Hohmeyer's Electra L-10A; requires L104NWA.ZIP or another base L-10 of FS-Design Berlin. Livery by Dale DeLuca.

Installation in FS2004:

  • Unzip l104lot.zip to a temporary folder.
  • In your 'Flight Simulator 9/Aircraft/FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder, make a copy of the folder 'texture.nwa'.
  • Name it 'texture.lot'.
  • Within this download, you'll find a texture folder with 5 bmp textures. Move them in to the new folder you have just created 'texture.lot' (overwrite 5 existing bmp-files).
  • Back up your AIRCRAFT.CFG file (found in your 'FSDB_L_Electra_L-10A' folder).
  • Open AIRCRAFT.CFG with a text editor and paste the following under your last [flightsim.xxx] entry:

[fltsim.1]

Requires dependencies

This add-on may require the following files to function properly. If this is a repaint, the dependency below is likely the base aircraft package.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
