FS2004 Real Aerovias Curtiss C-46A (GA)

This repaint package adds a historically inspired Real Aerovias color scheme to the Curtiss C-46A Commando model created by Libardo Guzman and the CalClassic group. It has been crafted by Manuele Villa for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 aficionados who enjoy flying vintage twin-engine transports. Important Notes on the Base Model

This release is limited to the texture set only. You must possess the freeware Libardo Guzman/CalClassic Curtiss C46A Commando base package, often referenced as C46GA.ZIP. That original aircraft is not included here. For complete functionality, confirm you have downloaded the base files from the Fly Away Simulation mod library.

Detailed Texture Installation

1. Extract the folder named texture.real_aerovias into your existing GA_C-46 directory, found within Flight Simulator 9/AIRCRAFT/.
2. Open the Base texture folder (provided with the original aircraft) and copy its internal contents into texture.real_aerovias without overwriting any files already present.
3. If desired, preserve a backup of your AIRCRAFT.CFG file. Then edit the original AIRCRAFT.CFG using a text editor and locate the final [flightsim.X] entry.
4. Add the following segment under the last entry, incrementing the number XX accordingly:

5. Confirm you have typed everything correctly, then click save. The texture is now ready for use.
