FS2004 C-46 Repaints

Textures only; requires C46GA.ZIP. Six repaints of US cargo and supplemental airline C46's from the 1950s. By Dave McQueen.

Installation:

• First, make sure that the base model (c46ga.zip) is installed on your system.
• Find the Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Aircraft\GA C46 folder. Or the Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\GA C46 folder.
• Unzip the 6 folders contained in this file and copy all or some of them to the "GA C46" folder.
• Using a text editor such as Wordpad open the c46aircraft.cfg file from this zip file and copy the sections for all or some of the paint schemes into the GA C46 folder's aircraft.cfg. IE copy and paste sections that look like the following:

• Using the text editor paste them into the aircraft.cfg file under those sections already present. The first line of each new section has to be changed to be 1 number higher than the one that precedes it in the aircraft.cfg file. For example in the Resort section above if it was placed after the section that read [fltsim.7] in the first line, then the section above would need to be changed from [fltsim.6] to [fltsim.8]. The next one to [fltsim.9] and so forth.

You may include all 6 paint schemes or just the ones you want. You just have to make certain to adjust the aircraft.cfg as described above.
