KLM and Air Ceylon Lockheed L-749A Constellation repaints recreate four classic schemes from 1949 to 1958, including PH-TDB Batavia, PH-LDT Tilburg, PH-LDE Utrecht, and leased PH-LDP Mahadevi for authentic period operations in FS2004. Textures only, requires Francisco Sanchez-Castaner’s payware Lockheed L-749 Constellation.

KLM was a major European operator of various models of the Lockheed Constellation and Super Constellation. Out of 48 Connies and Super Connies, 11 were L-749 (8 of them later converted to L-749A) and 9 were L-749A Constellations.

The first L-749 entered service with KLM in August 1947, and for some 13 years this and the other L-749 (A) Connies served on various medium- and long-haul routes. Featured are KLM's PH-TDB 'Batavia' (1949 livery), PH-LDT 'Tilburg' (1954 livery), PH-LDE 'Utrecht' (1958 livery) and, leased by KLM to Air Ceylon, PH-LDP 'Mahadevi'. These are textures only. You will require Francisco Sanchez-Castaner's payware Lockheed L-749 Constellation, which can be obtained from Abacus' Platinum Collection Repaints by Maarten Brouwer.

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
