FS2004 Ilyushin IL-12

The Ilyushin IL-12 package also delivers the later IL-14B with Aeroflot, CSA, and LOT liveries, featuring a tailored twin-engine soundset, a detailed virtual cockpit with custom and adapted gauges, and an ILS indicator built from XML code. Designed for FS2004, it captures classic Soviet-era airliner flying with authentic systems feel.

This package includes the original IL12 and the later IL-14B in the colors of Aeroflot (two versions), CSA and LOT. By Jens B. Kristensen.

Sounds:

Based on a DC-6 soundset by Mike Hambly, modified for two engines and converted to FS2004 format, using FS Sound Studio, by myself.

Gauges:

The gauges are to some extent based on default gauges of Flight Simulator FSX or FS2004, most of them modified by me. Other gauges are by myself, but I have studies the gauges of other freeware models of russial aircraft, for example the An-14 by Anton Nikolaev.

The ILS indicator is based on xml code by Saviero Maurri (Vickers Varsity panel), bitmaps by me.

A number of gauges (mostly switches) are, with permission from Tom Gibson, Cal Classic, based on work by Tom himself, Kevin Trinkle, Ernie Kennedy and Ken 'Mitch' Mitchell.

This plane was made with FSDS 3.5.1, the textures with Paint Shop Pro and DxtBmp.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per readme

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
