FSX Airbus A380 Smoke Effect

Bring the Project Airbus A380 to life with a convincing engine smoke trail effect tuned for in-flight visibility, adding atmosphere during climbs, cruise, and approach. Designed for FSX, it integrates via the aircraft configuration and uses the included fx_smoke_f6 effect for clean, consistent smoke placement across all four engines.

Copy and paste all of the [SMOKESYSTEM] info. below into your Airbus A380 "aircraft.cfg" file. (Then click 'file', then click 'save', of course). I pasted mine at the bottom of the file with good results.
Copy and paste the enclosed "fx_smoke_f6.fx" file into your FSX "Effects" folder. (It's probably there already).
Press your "I" key while flying your A380 in FSX and enjoy the smoke!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
