SimCopter brings the classic Maxis emergency-helicopter concept into FSX as a structured mission set, with cities that ramp up in difficulty as new levels unlock. It includes a curated library list of custom scenery objects used in the missions, and requires SIMWSTRP.ZIP for the matching setup and assets.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place mission files

    Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

I followed and installed everything and yet this mission is a flop... starts out with the HC sitting on ground, no SAR Centre, no mission or voice telling you what your supposed to be doing...? Nothing Happens... very disappointed.
