FS2004 AFCAD2 File For KRDU

KRDU Raleigh-Durham International gets a smarter, more complete gate layout for FS2004, expanding default parking with gates A10–A28 and C1–C26 while using parking codes to match airlines to the right stands. It supports accurate AI and traffic planning, and requires correctly set aircraft.cfg parking_type and parking_code entries.

This .bgl file adds gates A10 through A28 and C1 through C26 to the default facilities. Gates A5 - A9 are not included because the default scenery does not include the south concourse of terminal A. Gates C1 - C11 do not have any airline assigned at this time because they are closed for renovation.

Parking Codes are used to assign the gates to the correct airlines. Set the parking_code and parking_type correctly in the aircraft.cfg files. (see AFCAD readme)

To install this file, copy it to ...\Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\scenery.

Use TTOOLS2 (by Lee Swordy) to add more airplanes and other flights to KRDU.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
