FS2004 AFCAD2 File For LGIR

LGIR Nikos Kazantzakis (Heraklion, Crete) receives an AFCAD2 update for FS2004 that repositions the VOR to match the scenery and refines taxiways, gates, and parking to prevent AI cross-country taxiing. It adds ample stands for regional, prop, and GA traffic, and requires the LGIR beta scenery by George Dorkofikis.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Nikos Airport, Heraklion, Crete, Greece. This is a minor update for the AFCAD. It moves the VOR to the position depicted in the scenery. By Felix Hippmann.

This file makes FS2004 use the correct taxiways and gates at the airport of Iraklion, Crete (LGIR beta release by George Dorkofikis). It keeps the AI Aircraft from taxiing cross country. It was created with AFCAD 2.04. It contains enough parkings for many small and medium and prop airliners and some general aviation parkings. Overflow General Aviation Traffic will park at both ends of runway 18 / 36, which is closed. I hope, this is realistic.

It is mandatory that you remove previous versions prior to installation.

What you need:

Microsoft Flight Simulator 9 A Century Of Flight (THIS WON'T WORK WITH FS2002 OR AFCAD1!)
The freeware scenery for LGIR beta release by George Dorkofikis.
You don't need AFCAD 2.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
