FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    I am also wondering what the readme file means when it says "FSX main directory".

    First of all, you should work on the animations, then on the graphics, because it looks as if it were 2D.

    Technical and interactive areas to improve:

    • Pressurization
    • FMC (needs improvement)
    • Pushback
    • Tow animation
    • Openable windows
    • Interactive overhead console with a working APU and bleed, etc.
    • Battery

    The virtual cockpit graphics are rather poor. The overhead console is done poorly; besides not being interactive, it is blurry and has very large pixels.

    Please improve the graphics, the animations, and everything else that was left out. The external graphics are slightly better than the internal cockpit.

    Not a bad plane handles well. I do get overspeed warnings incredibly fast in this thing.

    Aircraft shake like crazy at high speeds. Also lands at unrealistic low speed. Can be stopped in under 1000 ft of runway.
