Patches for my LOD7/9 Terrain Meshes of BC

Terrain flatten patches correct 108 lakes across British Columbia and Southeast Alaska affected by elevation mismatches between custom LOD7 and LOD9 mesh and FS2002 default scenery. Nine additional airfield flattens smooth sloping ground and curb texture bleeding, keeping shorelines and runways aligned cleanly with the surrounding terrain.

Patches (flatten files) for 108 lakes in British Columbia and Southeast Alaska that were either sunken below or raised above the terrain surface due to discrepancies between my add-on LOD7 and LOD9 mesh files and FS2002's default scenery. Also included are flatten files for nine airfields that had problems with sloping terrain or texture "bleeding". By Holger Sandmann.

How to install this mod

flight simulator scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Identify the target folder

    Different simulators use different folder structures. Check the readme to confirm where files should be placed.

  3. Copy files to the correct location

    Drag the extracted folder into the location the readme specifies. Most add-ons just need to be in the right folder.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
