Miles Messenger G-ALAI

Miles Messenger G-ALAI brings a historically grounded civil scheme to Dave Molyneaux’s classic light aircraft, reflecting ex-RAF RH423 (c/n 6348) after its 1948 sale and later flying club years. Designed for FSX, it refreshes exterior textures and markings for authentic period-style flights; requires MILES_MESSENGER_1.ZIP.

A repaint for Dave Molyneaux's Miles Messenger (MILES_MESSENGER_1.ZIP) for flightsimmers who wish to use it in FSX. G-ALAI c/n 6348 was ex-RAF RH423. Sold on the civil market in 1948 and registered to L W Hamp. Passed through several Flying Club owners including the Cleveland Flying Group in 1965. Withdrawn from use in 1970. Repaint by Peter Watkins.

Installation:

Copy the texture file into the 'Miles_Messenger' folder in FSX SimObjects 'Airplanes' folder.
Copy and add the following to the aircraft.CFG file, replacing the 'xx' with your next number in sequence.

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
