FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    I have Pyro for FSX but when I pass DX10 I have clouds no transparents, what is it possible to do ?

    If you want this aircraft and this one doesn't work for you try this: Go back to the main download page, choose FSX Other Aircraft, find FSX Pyro Lite and download that one. It's great, my favorite helicopter, really fun to fly!

    This is the most ineffective download imaginable. I tried to find the version by Mick Posch and could not therefore could not fly this version.
