FSX TF-51H 3625th TW, Tyndall AFB 1952

North American TF-51H Mustang repaint depicts aircraft 44-64675 of the 3625th Pilot Training Wing at Tyndall AFB in 1952, reflecting its unarmed conversion used for instructor and Ground Controlled Intercept training against A-26 “hostiles.” Built for FSX and requires the Aircraft Factory F-51H model.

This is a repaint of the Aircraft Factory F-51H to represent 44-64675 an F-51H-10-NA converted to TF-51H standards by the removal of armament, and assigned to the 3625th Pilot Training Wing at Tyndall AFB. They were used by Air Defense Command for training instructors and in Ground Controlled Intercept training, being vectored by trainees to 'hostile' A-26 Invaders. They were replaced by T-33s in 1953-54. By Dave Quincey.

Installation:

Unzip the file to a location of your choice and move the 'texture.675' folder to your 'Airplanes/AF_F-51H' directory. Open the 'aircraft.cfg' file and add the following after the last [fltsim.xx] entry. Replace 'xx' with the next available variation number and save.
