Henschel Hs P.75 brings a wind-tunnel-proven heavy-fighter concept to life in X-Plane 11, pairing a sleek airshow-ready exterior with a modern virtual cockpit and full IFR capability. Two variants are included, reflecting the planned 3,500 hp configuration and a higher-power 2,600 hp upgrade for punchier performance.
The Henschel Hs P75 was designed as a possible successor to the Messerschmitt Bf 110 heavy fighter.
During the design phase, it went through wind tunnel tests with flying colors! It was heavily armed with four 30mm cannons. Its top speed was around 500 mph, similar to that of the Me-262. Although favorable results were obtained with a model in the wind tunnel, the design was not followed up.
This is a recreation for modern air shows, complete with a modern panel and full IFR capabilities. There are two versions of the P.75 in this package, one with 1750 hp as planned; contains two 1750 for a total of 3,500 hp and a P.75 with 2600 hp, upgraded to the power of a twin engined P-47 Thunderbolt.
Please see the included documentation for further details on this model. By Billy Bargagliotti.
