X-Plane Fisher P-75 Eagle

Fisher P-75 Eagle brings General Motors’ rare WWII high-climb fighter concept to X-Plane 11 with two flyable variants, Prototype and Combat, shaped around the Allison V-3420 powerplant. The package pairs a detailed virtual cockpit with pilot notes and a concise aircraft history for authentic period flavor.

Fisher P-75 Eagle on runway.The General Motors/Fisher P75 Eagle was a fighter aircraft designed by the Fisher Body Division of General Motors. Development started in September 1942 in response to United States Army Air Forces requirement for a fighter possessing an extremely high rate of climb, using the most powerful liquid-cooled engine then available, the Allison V-3420.

The program was canceled after only a small number of prototypes and production aircraft had been completed. There are two variants of the aircraft included in the package: Prototype and Combat.

Pilot notes plus a brief history of the aircraft are also included. By Billy Bargagliotti.

How to install this mod

X-Plane add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place per readme

    X-Plane add-ons go into Aircraft/ (planes), Custom Scenery/ (airports, mesh), or Resources/plugins/ (plugins).

  3. Restart X-Plane

    Close X-Plane completely and relaunch. The new content loads automatically.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Some of the addons do not respond the Connie will not take off it drags the tail.
