MSFS Aurore MB 02 Souricette

A super-fun and exciting ultralight, the Aurore MB 02 Souricette has been brought into a digital version for Microsoft Flight Simulator (MSFS) 2020 release by developer oldpat.  The aircraft is based on the real-world Aurore MB 02 Souricette with as much accuracy as possible.

The real-world aircraft is a French ultralight aircraft supplied as a complete kit (to build yourself) or simply with extensive sheets of plans in which you would source the materials yourself and follow the instructions (so to speak).  It was designed by Michel Barry and the supplied kit versions were produced by Aurore Sarl of Sauvignon.

This little gem of an ultralight is perfect for low and slow VFR flights - and why not fly around the beautiful French countryside in the aircraft or even head further South for some more rugged terrain and mountainous regions.

The real-world aircraft features only one seat - and that's the pilot's seat - so no possibility of carrying passengers on your flights.

This model has been built from the ground up exclusively for the new Microsoft Flight Simulator release - it's neither conversion nor a port-over.  While the aircraft model itself is quite basic it does bring hours of fun flights in MSFS and is perfect for those low and slow flights when you really want to appreciate the scenery around you.  It can take off and land pretty much anywhere - be it grass strips or 1km long asphalt runways - this aircraft is certainly versatile.

This particular add-on model features;

• A complete model of the Aurore MB 02 Souricette
• Custom textures/paints/liveries on the exterior
• A basic 3D VC panel with gauges, switches, and controls
• An animated 3D pilot viewable from exterior views
• Accurate flight dynamics to match the real-world aircraft

Installation

Simply download the archive and move the Souricette MB02 folder into your MSFS community folder.  Once that has been completed, the aircraft should be visible in the MSFS aircraft selection dialog.

About the Developer

This mod has been created by the developer that goes by the name of oldpat.  They have allowed release providing they are properly credited.  Currently, the developer does not publish a public donation page for their creations however if this changes, we will update this listing.
