Lillooet Airport (CAR3) in British Columbia comes to life with a frame-rate-friendly, enhanced fictional rendition that enriches approaches and departures amid rugged interior scenery. Built with the FSX SDK mission scenery tools and Abacus Scenery Shortcut, it adds custom objects and local atmosphere for relaxed VFR flying and exploration.

This is a an enhanced fictious depiction of CAR3 - Lillooet, BC

Lillooet (CAR3) is one of my favorite places to fly in and out of. I created an enhanced scenery for my own enjoyment, but thought I would share it with others.

This is freeware. I hope you enjoy it.

Designed with the FSX Sdk Scenery function of the Mission builder and the Abacus Scenery shortcut tool

This scenery is frame rate freindly.

Install:
just extract the Lillooet_CAR3.zip into your Addon Scenery folder:

FS X should recognize the new folder and activate it for you.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
