Please note that this package consists of the repaint files only and requires the freeware base model, which is available in the Fly Away Simulation library.

Overview

This add-on integrates seamlessly with the Project Open Sky rendition of the CRJ-200 platform. It has been developed by By Sebastian Szucs to match the unique branding of Cimber Air (a Danish airline known for operating regional routes). The CRJ airframe is widely recognized for efficient short- to medium-range operations, offering comfortable service in smaller airport environments.

Installation Steps

1. Locate and unzip the folder labeled “texture.XXX” into your chosen CRJ-200 directory from Project Open Sky.
2. Open your aircraft configuration file (Aircraft.cfg) and copy the corresponding [fltsim] text from the download into this configuration file.
3. Adjust “[fltsim.X]” so that X reflects the next sequential number. Ensure numerical order is consistent.
4. Match the “model=” and “sim=” entries to align with the existing model folder and .air file in your CRJ-200 directory.
5. Launch the simulator and confirm that the livery is selected properly.

Texture and Technical Notes

All texture files are in 32-bit format and presented without Mip-Maps. Though the original paint kit was intended for older simulator releases, every effort was made to improve finish quality. This approach retains fidelity while preserving compatibility with the current version of the simulator.
