FSX / P3D Repaint

FSX BAE Systems CT4 Airtrainer Patch

BAE Systems CT4 Airtrainer Patch v1.1 refines the model with cleaner interior canopy transparency, removes stray harness webbing from the virtual cockpit, and decouples pre-flight flags and chocks so they behave independently. Designed for FSX, it requires BAECT4V1.ZIP and replaces the model file with these targeted fixes.

BAE Systems CT4 Trainer for FSX PATCH V1.1

Fixes the following issues. Some I knew about some brought to my attention by 'Bazza'.
1) Interior canopy front transparency had polygon annomalies.
2) Belt webbing that goes around pilot was still in the VC despite no pilot.
3) Pre-flight flags and chocks were tied to the canopy flag so when canopy lifted, so did all the other flags.... YUCK!!

Requires dependencies

This file is a repaint — the package below is the base model it paints onto. Install it first, or the textures will have nothing to load onto.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
  3. Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
