HTG 64 SAR Bell UH-1D repaint brings the German Hubschrauber-Transportgeschwader 64 Ahlhorn rescue scheme to life, commemorating the 25th anniversary of Search and Rescue service in 1984 with vivid, era-accurate markings and texture detail. Built for FSX Acceleration, it requires the Nemeth Design Bell UH-1H base aircraft.

HTG 64 SAR Bell UH-1D. Repaint for a Bell UH-1D in service from Hubschrauber-Transportgeschwader 64 (Ahlhorn). Motive for this colorful paint was the 25th anniversary from "SAR" - Search and Rescue in Germany in September 1984. Textures only; requires original Nemeth Design aircraft Bell UH-1H for FSX/Acceleration. Special thanks to Hans-Juergen Fischer for the extensive technical dokuments. By B. Lechner.

Installation:

1. Unzip the file.

2. Put the folder "texture.HTG-64" in the directory SIMOBJECTS/ROTORCRAFT/ND_UH1H.

3. Open the aircraft.cfg file and paste the following text into the file after the previous aircraft repaint, ensuring to replace [fltsim.XX] with the next number in sequence.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Repaint for Payware Model

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Add livery to base aircraft folder

Place the texture folder (typically texture.{airline}) inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{base-aircraft}\.
Update aircraft.cfg

Open the base aircraft.cfg in Notepad. Add a new [fltsim.X] section per the readme.
