FSX Thunder Night Mission

Thunder Night Mission drops pilots into snowbound eastern Turkey with a fuel resupply run through widespread thunderstorms, blending demanding weather, mountain navigation, and story-driven briefings with co-pilot Rena Chuckersky. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires the Flight1 Islander for the intended experience, while supporting alternative aircraft choices.

Thunder Night. In the snow covered mountains of eastern Turkey a town has run out of fuel. You have been appointed by your boss to fly out and take some fuel drums to the fuel-less inhabitants. Weather: Thunderstorms all over! This mission has been done for the Flight1 "Islander" but you can use your own plane too. Oh! Your co-pilot will be miss Rena Chuckersky on her first flight in the company Islander. By Gera Godoy Canova.

1) place the .bgl files FOUND IN THE ENCLOSED "SCENERY" directory in your FSX/ADDON SCENERY/SCENERY Directory
.
2) Place the .BMP files FOUND IN THE ENCLOSED " TEXTURE" directory in your FSX/ADDON SCENERY/TEXTURE Directory.

Place the Mission Folder"THUNDER NIGHT" in your FSX/MISSIONS Directory.

Activate the files by starting FSX.

GO TO the MISSIONS Menu.....at look for the mission under BACKCOUNTRY.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place mission files

    Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
