FSX V1.2 Gloucestershire Airport Scenery

Gloucestershire Airport (EGBJ) scenery refreshes the UK airfield in FSX v1.2 with updated AI traffic compiled to the native traffic format, corrected approach lighting alignment, and smoother blending into surrounding photographic ground imagery. Tweaked object and vegetation placement helps the airport sit more naturally in both default and photo scenery environments.

I thought FSX SP2/Acceleration might cause display issues with this scenery however there don't seem to be any problems as the vast majority of the code is in FSX format.

Modifications.

* Ai traffic is now compiled into the FSX Traffic format.
* Approach lights now face the correct way.
* Better integration of airport into Photographic scenery

Installation:

1. For Photographic and default scenery users:

Copy the attached 'EGBJ_Traffic.bgl' into your EGBJ/Scenery folder
replacing the existing file.

Copy the attached 'Vegetation.bgl' into your EGBJ/Scenery folder
replacing the existing file.

Copy the attached 'EGBJ_Objects.bgl' into your EGBJ/Scenery folder
replacing the existing file.

Copy the attached 'fx_EGBJ_WS.fx' into your Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Effects folder
replacing the existing file.

2. For Photographic scenery users only:

Copy the attached 'Photo_Ground.bgl' into your EGBJ/Scenery folder replacing the existing file.

Copy the attached 'cvx_EGBJ.BGL' into your EGBJ/Scenery folder.

Delete the following files:

'EGBJ_Flatten.BGL'
'F1.bgl'
'F2.bgl'
'F3.bgl'
'F4.bgl'
'F5.bgl'
'F6.bgl'
'F7.bgl'
'F8.bgl'

To save clutter, you may also delete 'EGBJ_Mesh.bmp' in the EGBJ/Texture folder as the ground texture is now contained within the 'Photo_Ground.bgl'

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Finding the scenery

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
