Stock objects populate the field with static aircraft, vehicles, and ramp clutter, keeping the scenery accurate and immersive without requiring extra libraries.

Canandaigua Airport (D38), New York (NY). Here is an improved version of the stock Canandaigua Airport. Inaccurate taxiways were removed and replaced. Aprons were adjusted, default buildings removed and replaced. PAPI lights added to runway, and also static airplanes, vehicles, and other objects. By Jim Cook.

Here is an improved version of the stock Canandaigua Airport. Inaccurate taxiways were removed and replaced. Aprons were adjusted, default buildings removed and replaced. PAPI lights added to runway, and also static airplanes, vehicles, and other objects.

I use Ultimate Terrain and FSGenesis landclass but they are not required. All objects are stock FSX so no additional object libraries are needed. Updates made using AirNav diagrams and Google Earth to be as accurate as possible. All work done with Flight 1's AFX program and Instant Scenery.

INSTALLATION:

Extract the file D38_AFX_JC.bgl and D38_JC.bgl into your Addon Scenery/Scenery folder, re-start FSX and enjoy.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
