Oceana, Miramar, and Pensacola carrier scenery brings three updated naval operating areas to FSX for smooth, organized multiplayer circuits and reliable trap practice. Ships are spaced to ease frame-rate strain, and decks include working arrestor cables plus tuned nav aids such as localizer with DME, VOR, and shared NDB support for ADF approaches.

Extract To desk top, Move Pensacola Carrier V2.0 folder out of the unziped/extracted Folder to your FSX-MAIN Directory- Addon Scenery folder. Activate through the simulators Settings-Scenary Library,> Add Area> Pensacola Carrier V2.0, Click ok.

Good scenery for organized multiplayer carrier circuits and traps, all players will see these. Ships spaced out to address a common frame rate complaint. Has locializer, dme, Arrestor cables. Added another NDB, one for both carriers-Both on decks for ADF head wind approuches.

Carriers/Cruisers/Destroyers(Arrestor cables work), 60 Miles . south east off the coast of Pensacola NAS. The airport name is Pensacola Carrier. (KNPC) NDB(ident KNPC) ON DECK 245.0 khz, LOC/DME(ident KNPC) 108.15 mhz. NO BACK COARSE,OR GLIDE SLOPE. VOR-IDENT:PCGA 110.20mhz. Range 80NM.

You can't START on the Carriers, you'll end up in the water.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
