Peace Airport scenery brings Shigatse (Xigaze) Airport ZUSH to life in Tibet for FSX, recreating its high-altitude 09/27 asphalt runway and adding a custom terminal, taxiway layout, and airport buildings based on satellite references. The package suits civilian and military operations and captures the distinctive setting near the China–Nepal corridor.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Scenery Peace Airport (ZUSH), or Shigatse (Xigaze) Airport, a mixed civilian and military airport in Tibet. By Anwar Gonzalez.

China has named it ‘Peace Airport’, the project to utilize the Shigatse (Xigaze) Airport as both a military and civil airport is currently progressing smoothly, and the civil airport is expected to open this October, according to sources from the Civil Aviation Administration's Tibet Branch. It is believed the project will boost investment and tourism in Xigaze, the second largest city in Tibet. Xigaze is located on the China-Nepal highway.

INSTALLATION:

Please copy the fileS to the folder FSX Addon Scenery (subfolder Scenary). This file is the airpor with airport buildings, the C taxi and the terminal are added and are from my inventio due to lack of airport project plans. It is done using google map. Included are two maps. Feel free to add anything you want.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
