Colorado Scenery expands eight fictional high-Rockies airports from the Pro Hops series into more engaging mountain hop destinations, adding custom scenery details and night lighting for memorable arrivals and departures. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it turns quiet strips into scenic stops that suit bush flights, training circuits, and short VFR tours.

Colorado Scenery. Number 7 in the series of Pro Hops fictional airport scenery. These are airports in the high Rocky Mountains of Colorado (CO), eight airports total that transform otherwise boring empty airports into some fun stops. With lights for night hops. Created by J. D. Starseed.

1. Un- zip file to your desk top.

2. Copy all indiviual BGL. files to your FSX Addon Scenery/ Scenery folder. [ NOT textures folder ] For example= C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\scenery.

3.Over write any files if you have previous version. Restart Flight Sim thats it !!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

Use these coordinates to fly directly to this location once the mod is installed.
