FSX Fokker F27 200 Update

Bring the Fokker F27-200 up to date in Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration with refreshed flight dynamics and a compatible 2D panel tuned for smoother operation. The package replaces key configuration and panel files for more reliable handling and instrumentation, and requires the original Mike Stone F-27 200 base aircraft (SF27.ZIP).

Fokker F27 200 Update for FSX Acceleration. An update of the Fokker F-27 200 by Mike Stone. The author has updated the flight dynamics and added a panel that works in FSX. No virtual cockpit. You need the original aircraft for this update to work (SF27.ZIP). By Bob Chicilo.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. After backing up your air and aircraft.cfg files, replace them with the ones in this update. Copy the pictures to the aircraft folder. Back up your panel folder and replace it with the one in this update. Copy the gauge to the main FS gauges folder.

If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab files will be .zip files as .cab files are a type of .zip file.

The panel is a dash 8 panel that I have updated slightly. The panel has a speed brake gauge. It doesn't work because this F27 does not have spoilers or speed brakes. I am not sure at the moment if the real aircraft does, or not.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
