Unzip to a folder of your choice. After backing up your air, aircraft.cfg and panel.cfg files, replace them with the ones in this update. Copy the .jpg picture to the aircraft folder. Back up the ecu.bmp file in the panel folder and replace it with the one in this update. Copy the gauges to the main FS gauges folder.
If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them to the main FS gauges folder. This includes the helicopters. For some the .cab files will be .zip files as .cab files are a type of .zip file.
The throttle gauges that go with the original ecu.bmp don't work in FSX, so I replaced them with the ones from the KC-135. This made it necessary to change the background picture. There is one thing I noticed that I cannot fix. The throttle handles disappear when on autopilot and the throttles are at the top of the throttle quadrant. This also happens in the KC-135 that I took the throttles from; so I expect it is a problem with the gauges.
See [reference speeds] section of the aircraft.cfg file for operating speeds.
Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.
Bob Chicilo.
