Hawkeye Friday Harbor Pack Released

Posted on

This scenery displays three airports totally redone, They are: KFHR, 1WA9 and W33. Friday Harbor airport is the default airport for Microsoft's Flight Simulator X. Friday Harbor is a small quiet town. It is located on one of Washington State's many islands. The town itself has three airports. They are all within about five miles of each other. KFHR or Friday Harbor displays a newly redone airport.

Redone from the ground up with new taxiways, longer runways, and more buildings, parking, and AI static aircraft. The smaller airport of the three is 1WA9, Friday West. Friday West offers a challenge for "simmers" alike. If you are up to the challenge try to land a good sized general aviation plane at this airport. This airport features redone taxiways, static aircraft, housing, and structure. (The taxiways glitch if your mesh complexity is too low.) You can also visit this airport in the mission "San Juan Island run" because Friday Harbor is on the Island of San Juan.

Key Features

  • Entirely redone airport with all the "nooks and crannies" you can expect from Hawkeye Simulations.
  • More static AI that you can "shake a stick at" (it does feature quite a lot of static AI)
  • It looks good and doesn't reduce frame rates.
