The Challenger 650 is the strongest choice when operating procedures are as important as the flying. Its electrical, hydraulic, fuel, pneumatic and avionics systems interact at a depth rarely found in X-Plane aircraft, and persistent aircraft state gives preparation and servicing a purpose.
It is designed around crew-style workflows, although it can be flown alone in the simulator. Cold starts, flight-management setup and abnormal situations require study, while its custom systems and displays can place a heavier load on the computer than a simpler aircraft. Buying it merely for quick departures wastes much of what makes it exceptional.
Aerobask Phenom 300: best for most pilots

Will an X-Plane 11 business jet work in X-Plane 12?
Some X-Plane 11 jets will load in X-Plane 12, but that is not proof of full compatibility. A mistake we see constantly is treating “loads without an error” as meaning that the flight model, engines, cockpit lighting, displays and plugins all work correctly.
- Check the exact product build: the developer should explicitly identify it as supporting X-Plane 12.
- Confirm plugin compatibility: older custom avionics may fail on a newer operating system or processor architecture even when the aircraft itself appears.
- Expect separate updates: native X-Plane 12 lighting, weather effects and flight behaviour may require more than opening an older aircraft in Plane Maker.
- Keep the original package intact: copying plugins or objects between X-Plane 11 and 12 versions often creates harder-to-diagnose faults.
What usually goes wrong after installation?
