Do not confuse Toolbar Pushback Pro with the original community Toolbar Pushback. They are separate products, and installing both can create duplicate toolbar entries or competing tug commands.
Why is GSX Pro the best overall?
GSX Pro is the strongest option because it coordinates an airliner turnaround rather than triggering isolated airport vehicles. It can sequence passengers, baggage, catering, refuelling and pushback around the aircraft’s doors and service points.
The quality of that operation depends heavily on profiles. A profile defines the stop position, vehicle routes, door locations and pushback directions. A profile made for a default airport will rarely align perfectly with a third-party version of the same airport, and profiles for different aircraft variants or freighter layouts are not interchangeable.
GSX is most worthwhile for regular airliner flying, especially when boarding and ramp activity are part of the flight rather than something to skip. For a general-aviation pilot who only needs an occasional tug, its configuration and background components are unnecessary overhead.

Does GSX Pro work on Xbox?
GSX Pro does not work on Xbox because it depends on external Windows components that cannot run on the console version of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.
Xbox users must select an add-on whose in-simulator Marketplace listing explicitly includes Xbox compatibility. A product being advertised for MSFS 2020 does not automatically mean its PC package works on console, and community-folder utilities cannot be installed on Xbox.

How do you prevent ground-services conflicts?
Use one pushback controller, one loading authority and profiles made for the exact aircraft and airport scenery installed.
- Install one tug system: do not run GSX pushback, Toolbar Pushback and another helper simultaneously. Remove or disable unused packages rather than merely closing their panels.
- Match the airport profile: confirm that it was created for the same default or third-party airport package. Stand numbers alone are not enough; parking geometry can differ completely.
- Match the aircraft variant: passenger, cargo, short-body and long-body models can have different door and service locations. Check these before starting an automated sequence.
- Choose one loading authority: let either the aircraft’s EFB or the ground-services add-on control fuel and payload unless their documented integration says otherwise. Two loaders changing the same values cause sudden fuel or weight jumps.
- Prepare the aircraft correctly: set the parking brake or chocks as requested, shut down the required engines and open only the doors needed for service. Aircraft-specific safety logic can block the tug or loaders.
- Reduce duplicate vehicles: if default and add-on vehicles occupy the same stand, lower the simulator’s Airport Vehicle Density setting or disable the overlapping service package.
Common symptoms and likely fixes
Most failures point to a mismatched profile, competing add-on or blocked background component rather than a defective aircraft.
- Vehicles stop at the wrong doors: select or edit the correct aircraft profile, including the exact fuselage variant.
- The tug connects but will not move: release the parking brake and chocks when instructed, then check the aircraft’s nosewheel-steering or pushback logic.
- Services appear in buildings or static objects: the airport profile does not match the installed scenery, or the scenery developer has changed the stand layout.
- The GSX toolbar menu is missing: update or repair GSX, restart its Couatl background process and check whether security software has blocked or quarantined a component.
- Fuel or payload changes unexpectedly: stop one of the two systems controlling the aircraft’s loading state.
