Do these FS2004 helicopters have virtual cockpits?

A virtual cockpit does not guarantee that every switch is functional. FS2004 aircraft often combine a visually detailed 3D cockpit with a more capable 2D panel, so try both views before deciding that a gauge or system is missing.
How do I install an FS2004 helicopter add-on?

- Extract the archive to a temporary folder. Do not extract it straight into Flight Simulator 9 before checking its structure.
- Find the aircraft folder. The folder containing
aircraft.cfgnormally belongs directly inside the FS2004Aircraftdirectory. - Copy supporting files only as instructed. Gauges, effects, sounds and bundled scenery may have separate destinations. Back up an existing file before replacing it.
- Activate supplied scenery if required. A package such as the AS332L2 may include mission-related scenery that needs adding through the FS2004 Scenery Library.
Why does an installed helicopter not appear or work correctly?
A misplaced folder or omitted gauge file causes most FS2004 helicopter installation failures. Check these points before reinstalling the entire package:
- Aircraft missing from the selection menu: look for an extra nested folder. FS2004 must be able to find
aircraft.cfgimmediately inside the helicopter's main aircraft folder. - Black or blank gauges: install the supplied gauge files and retain any panel subfolders exactly as packaged. Some older panels depend on files that are not part of a standard FS2004 installation.
- Invisible or untextured model: confirm that the selected variation points to a texture folder that exists. Do not rename texture or model folders unless you also edit their configuration references.
- No sound or effects: check whether the add-on uses its own aircraft subfolder or expects files in FS2004's global sound and effects directories.

How realistic are helicopters in FS2004?
FS2004 can produce convincing helicopter operations, but its rotorcraft physics are simpler than those in newer simulators. Precise pedals, small cyclic inputs and a well-centred controller matter more than aggressive realism settings.
Custom hover gauges and autopilots can make SAR and transport flying easier, but they are package-specific rather than standard FS2004 features.
