Find A400M liveries for MSFS 2024, verify iniBuilds compatibility, install them on PC, and understand Xbox and PlayStation download limits.
You can download A400M liveries for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 from our Microsoft Flight Simulator add-ons library and, when a publisher offers them there, the simulator’s in-game Marketplace. Check that each repaint explicitly supports the MSFS 2024 iniBuilds Airbus A400M; FSX textures and liveries made for a different A400M model will not work.
Where should I look for MSFS 2024 A400M liveries?
Search for A400M, Airbus A400M, Atlas and iniBuilds A400M, because uploaders do not always use the same aircraft name.
- Fly Away Simulation: Check our MSFS library for freeware aircraft and livery packages, then read the compatibility description before downloading.
- In-game Marketplace: This is the installation route for console users and an alternative for PC users. Availability depends on whether a publisher has released an A400M livery pack for that platform.

Which A400M livery download is the right one?
Choose only a repaint whose description identifies the MSFS 2024 iniBuilds A400M as its required base aircraft.
- The description should state MSFS 2024 support or confirmed compatibility with it.
- The developer and aircraft variant must match; sharing the A400M name does not make two models texture-compatible.
- You must already have the required A400M installed and enabled. A livery package normally contains no flyable aircraft.
- A package labelled for FSX, Prepar3D or another simulator cannot be placed in the MSFS 2024 Community folder.
An MSFS 2020 repaint may work only when its author has confirmed support or the package has been updated. Use our MSFS 2020-to-2024 livery compatibility checks rather than assuming every older package transfers unchanged.
How do I install an A400M livery on PC?
On PC, extract the downloaded archive and place its actual package folder in the MSFS 2024 Community folder.
- Confirm the base aircraft. Make sure the iniBuilds A400M is installed, enabled and available in the aircraft selector.
- Extract the archive. Do not put the unopened ZIP or RAR file into
Community. - Find the package folder. The correct folder normally contains files such as
manifest.jsonandlayout.json. Avoid leaving it buried inside an extra wrapper folder. - Copy and restart. Move that package folder into
Community, restart the simulator and select the new paint scheme from the A400M’s available liveries.

Can Xbox and PlayStation install downloaded A400M liveries?
Xbox Series X|S, PS5 and PS5 Pro cannot import arbitrary Community-folder livery archives; they can use only compatible content distributed through the simulator’s in-game systems.

A freeware A400M repaint available as a PC archive will therefore not automatically be available on either console.
Why does the A400M livery not appear?
The usual causes are a wrong aircraft dependency, an unextracted archive or a package folder nested one level too deeply.
- Wrong model: Remove any repaint made for an FSX A400M or a different developer’s aircraft.
- Bad folder structure: Open the installed folder and check that another identically named folder is not sitting inside it.
- Missing base aircraft: Verify that the iniBuilds A400M is installed and enabled in your MSFS 2024 content library.
- Package conflict: Remove duplicate or older versions of the same repaint, then test the new package by itself.
- Outdated livery: If the aircraft loads with blank, pink or misplaced textures, obtain a version explicitly updated for the MSFS 2024 model rather than editing the official aircraft files.
