Does GSX Pro work in MSFS 2024 and on console?
GSX Pro supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 on Windows PC, but it is unavailable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro. It depends on external software that console versions cannot run, so a console Marketplace release is not simply a matter of porting the vehicles.

What are the drawbacks before buying?
GSX Pro requires more maintenance than a self-contained aircraft or scenery package, and configuration time is its largest hidden cost.
- Airport profiles: Generic positioning can work, but a profile made for the exact airport scenery gives better stop positions, vehicle routes and pushback paths. A profile for the stock airport may be badly misaligned with replacement scenery.
- Aircraft profiles: Door positions and service points must match the aircraft. Unsupported variants can produce floating stairs, collisions or vehicles attending the wrong door.
- External components: GSX uses its own installer, updater and Couatl background engine. If one component fails to start, the toolbar menu or services may disappear.
- Performance: Animated passengers and numerous service vehicles add CPU and graphics load at already demanding hub airports. Reducing passenger or vehicle density may be necessary on marginal systems.
- Aircraft loading logic: Visual boarding does not guarantee that every aircraft's payload page, fuel system or electronic flight bag is synchronised. For aircraft with their own loader, use one consistent workflow rather than loading the aeroplane twice.
A mistake we see constantly is installing a popular airport profile without checking which edition and scenery version it was built for. The name and stand number may look correct while every vehicle position is several metres out.
Common GSX Pro problems after installation
Most GSX Pro problems come from a mismatched profile, a stopped background component or conflicting airport data rather than a fundamental incompatibility.
- The toolbar menu is missing: Run the official installer’s update or repair function, confirm that the Couatl engine starts, and review any security-software quarantine event before restoring trusted files. Restart MSFS after repairing the installation.
- Vehicles collide or stop in the wrong place: Confirm that the active profile matches the exact scenery. Remove duplicate or obsolete profiles one at a time, then test the stand again.
- Boarding stalls: Read the GSX status message and check the requested doors, parking brake, chocks and aircraft loader. Some aircraft need their own electronic flight bag workflow completed first.
- Pushback follows the wrong route: Use an airport-specific route or edit the stand's pushback definition. Automatically generated directions are not reliable at every apron.
- Jetways are duplicated or misplaced: Check for a conflict between the airport's own jetways and GSX replacement models. The scenery and GSX configuration must agree about which system controls that airport.

We recommend GSX Pro to PC simmers who fly scheduled airliner sectors and regard boarding, loading and pushback as part of the flight. The variety and airport-specific control provide a clear improvement over the default services when used regularly.
Skip it if most of your flying is in light aircraft, you prefer starting on the runway, or pushback is the only feature you need.
