How do I fix MSFS 2024 stuck on Loading Language?

The message marks an early start-up stage; it is not proof that your chosen display language is broken. Should I change the Windows or console language?

2. Check the account and internet connection. Set the device clock and time zone automatically, temporarily disable any VPN or proxy, and confirm other account-dependent online services work. For a Microsoft Store or Xbox app installation on PC, sign back into both apps with the account holding the licence or Game Pass entitlement. Steam users should restart Steam and confirm the Microsoft/Xbox sign-in requested by MSFS. 7. Reinstall only after the clean tests fail. Reinstallation can replace damaged base files, but it cannot fix a service outage, account mismatch or add-on folder stored outside the main installation. How long should I leave MSFS 2024 on Loading Language?

Give the first launch after an update one uninterrupted attempt while meaningful disk or network activity continues. There is no dependable fixed timeout because connection and storage speeds vary, and a moving background animation alone does not prove progress. If the same stop repeats after a full restart, waiting longer is unlikely to fix it.

Avoid repeatedly ending the process while the launcher is actively applying an update. That can leave the base application and content manifests out of step, producing the same hang on the next launch.

What if it still freezes after every fix?

If a clean restart, valid sign-in, complete update, Safe Mode and file repair all fail, the remaining cause is usually account-side or a damaged local installation rather than the selected language.
