Does the Union Pacific Heritage pack include a route?
No. The Union Pacific Heritage Livery Collection is a locomotive add-on built around the EMD SD70ACe in Union Pacific’s commemorative colour schemes.
It requires Sherman Hill for its intended timetable content, so buying the heritage pack without the route is a common mistake. It expands the locomotive selection rather than adding another railway.
Which Union Pacific route should you buy?
- Choose Sherman Hill for recognisable UP main-line operations, powerful modern diesels and long trains over sustained gradients.
- Choose Cane Creek for methodical branch-line freight, lower speeds and isolated Utah scenery rather than busy main-line traffic.
- Choose Peninsula Corridor if the GP38-2 and local freight interest you, but expect passenger traffic to define much of the route.

Can Union Pacific trains run on other TSW routes?
Owned UP locomotives may be placed on other suitable routes through Free Roam or Scenario Planner in Train Sim World versions that support those modes. That does not create official Union Pacific timetable services, and route geometry, electrification, train length or spawn-point limits may prevent a particular consist from working properly.

Why is an owned Union Pacific locomotive missing?
A missing UP locomotive is usually caused by an uninstalled dependency, platform entitlement or timetable requirement.
- Install the route separately. Owning a bundle or locomotive pack does not always make every component install automatically.
- Check the required route. The heritage SD70ACe content depends on Sherman Hill for its intended services.
- Use the same platform account. DLC ownership normally stays with the storefront or console family where it was purchased.
- Check compatible-content status. Older routes may need the appropriate compatible version before they appear in a later Train Sim World release.
- Select the correct timetable. A locomotive may be available in Free Roam yet have no scheduled work on the route or timetable presently loaded.
Are Union Pacific Big Boy and Challenger in Train Sim World?
Do not confuse Train Sim World with Train Simulator Classic. Search results for Union Pacific Big Boy, Challenger and other UP steam products often refer to Train Simulator Classic, whose routes and locomotives cannot be installed in or transferred to Train Sim World.
