Procedure coverage

Finger Lakes Regional has two RNAV (GPS) approaches, serving two of its four runway ends. Instrument arrival coverage is therefore limited to half of the available runway directions, while the chart set contains no airport diagram. The 4,592 ft asphalt runway offers substantially more usable distance than the 1,850 ft turf runway, which provides a second alignment but imposes a much tighter length constraint.

Nearby and VFR coverage

Skaneateles Aero Drome, Penn Yan/Yates County, Canandaigua and Williamson/Sodus each have four published charts, giving them slightly broader chart sets than Finger Lakes Regional. Whitfords has only two, making its coverage thinner. Both the Detroit and New York sectionals cover 0G7, adding wider visual-navigation context beyond the airport’s instrument procedures.
