Tower Municipal’s two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve two runway ends, giving the field instrument procedures in both directions rather than concentrating coverage on a single end. No airport diagram is published, and the remaining chart is the minimums document, so the procedure set is notably compact.
The water runway is 1,600 ft longer than the 3,400 ft asphalt runway, but that extra length does not increase the paved distance available. Among nearby airports, Range Regional stands apart with substantially broader chart coverage; Cook, Ely, Eveleth/Virginia and Orr have similarly small sets. The Green Bay and Twin Cities sectionals add wider VFR context beyond the terminal procedures.
