Valle’s compact instrument set is evenly divided between runway directions: one RNAV (GPS) approach serves runway 01 and another serves runway 19. Instrument coverage is therefore available to both ends of the single 4,199 ft runway rather than being concentrated on one alignment. At a field elevation of 5,999 ft, that runway length is a significant aircraft-performance consideration.
Grand Canyon National Park and Flagstaff Pulliam have substantially broader chart collections, with eight and seven procedures respectively.
