A 10,000 ft runway gives Amedee AAF a substantial single-strip layout, but the procedure set is narrow: one RNAV (GPS) approach serves only one end of Runway 09/27. The reciprocal end has no published approach, and there is no airport diagram. The chart set therefore provides little procedural coverage beyond that single arrival path and the associated minimums.
Susanville Municipal and Reno/Stead each have five published charts, while Nervino and Rogers Field have similarly compact sets of three and four. Reno/Tahoe International is the clear contrast, with 45 charts offering much broader procedure coverage. The Klamath Falls and San Francisco sectional charts add the wider visual-navigation context around Herlong that the airport’s sparse instrument set does not provide.
