Concentrated approach coverage

Reno/Stead’s two approach plates encompass ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures, but all instrument approach coverage is concentrated on one runway end. The chart set also includes an obstacle departure procedure and an airport diagram for the two-runway layout. Runway 14/32 is 1,392 ft longer than 08/26; an aircraft requiring more than 7,608 ft of runway length would therefore be limited to 14/32.

Regional chart context

Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Reno/Tahoe International has by far the broadest chart set, while Truckee-Tahoe and Carson City have more modest collections.
